Back in Time

This week, Reception and Year 1 went back in time and spent a fascinating day at Fulham Palace, which is the historic home of the Bishops of London. Learning all about what life was like 150 years ago, they had fun dressing up in Victorian costumes and acted out the roles of Bishop Tait, his wife and members of their household. The children enjoyed investigating objects including a brass candlestick, a butter stamp and a jelly mould. The afternoon was spent learning more about the past, visiting the museum and exploring the Palace and gardens.
