Bubblegum Blowing Self-Portraits

Year 3 had a very fun Art lesson this week learning about the differences between a self-portrait and a portrait.

The pupils not only learnt how to draw the face and facial details, but also discussed colour matching and trying their best to match their own unique skin colours, eye colours and hair colours using pastels and crayons.

The class focused on the elements of art (line, shape, colour and form), as well as using the principles of art in the background with some impressive results!
