Combining mathematics with creativity

This week Year 5 combined their mathematical skills with creativity to create a pie chart of our day. We used our knowledge of 24 hours in day to work out what each hour was worth on our chart. We divided 360° (a full turn) into 24 equal sectors, therefore each hour was worth 15°. Once we measured and drew each sector, we then mapped out our timetable for the day and added our creative flares to our artwork.
