Cubist Faces
24th March 2023This week our Year 3 students enjoyed learning about Pablo Picasso (1881-1973), the Spanish painter, sculptor, and ceramicist who is one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. In particular he is famous for co-founding the Cubist movement and was responsible for the development of a number of different modern art styles which are categorised into different periods such as the Blue Period.
Our pupils focused on cubism and created wonderful cubist faces using paint and markers before exploring similar ideas using clay.
