Divide and Conquer

In their Maths lessons this week, students in Year 3 have been looking at the process of division and how it helps us in our daily lives.

Using counters in the classroom, students practised sharing a number into equal groups and grouping that same number. As a class they then discussed the different ways sharing and grouping is important in our daily lives and have used this knowledge to help support our understanding of times tables.
