Getting to the Root of Roots
28th May 2021In Science this week, Year 3 have been experimenting to understand how water is transported through plants.
By putting some white flowers in red food colouring, they discovered how water is transported from the roots, through the tubes in the stem to the top of the plant with the red colouring changing the colour of the petals.
