Jacob named ‘Star Coder’ for his Ultimate Concentration App

Very well done to Jacob who, as part of National Coding week, has been chosen as one of BYJU’s FutureSchool ‘Star Coders’!

BYJU’S FutureSchool is an online education technology platform whose mission is to empower a whole generation to become creators versus consumers of technology. BYJU’S FutureSchool provides children with the the fundamentals of coding – logic, sequence, structure, algorithmic thinking – and lets them experience the joy of creative expression in building animations, games and apps using code.

Jacob, inspired by Steve Jobs and his career in technology, created an app called The Ultimate Concentration App to help children and adults refocus and concentrate using a variety of simple exercises. ‘The application was inspired by my difficulty concentrating on complex tasks. I wanted to make an app that would help others refocus and re-energise in a fun way‘, Jacob explained.  He collaborated with an occupational therapist to develop creative exercises that can be done quickly and easily anywhere.

Jacob should be very proud of his achievement and faced some tough competition to win the award for his app which is available on the Google Play Store.
