Knights and Castles
18th March 2022This week, Year 1 have been learning about medieval knights and castles.
They enjoyed meeting a member of the Royal Household at Windsor Castle, via a live Zoom link, and seeing some examples of weapons and armour. The children also designed their own coats of arms and used some heraldic devices, including dragons, bears, dogs and snakes to decorate their shields.
