Life Below Water

21st October 2021

In their English lessons this term, Redcliffe students have been looking at the conservation of life below water, goal fourteen of the United Nations’ Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

Healthy oceans and seas are essential to our existence and students learnt how the UN plans to protect them through reducing pollution and ocean acidification, conserving coastal areas, protecting and restoring ecosystems, and putting an end to overfishing. After learning how design elements on posters convey a message, the class designed their own posters encouraging people to save our oceans.

Everyone enjoyed setting out their message, producing a variety of persuasive designs and compelling arguments in their posters.
