Photography Club

This term in photography club, we have focussed on how we can display our creativity through the use of still images.

We explored the artwork of Dorothea Lange, examining how she used frames and lighting to create the focus of her picture. Most recently, we have been investigating a common issue for photographers, capturing an image of a moving object. We practised using the burst and action settings of our camera, noting how fast shutter speed led to multiple clear images. We then used these skills to photograph and edit images of the members of multi-sports as they played cricket and football.

We loved observing the close-up faces of the players as they scored goals and runs!
