Redcliffe students have a spring in their step

While Year 2 students have been thinking about beginnings and endings in their R.E lessons, a theme of change was in the air at Redcliffe this week.

Reception have been learning about the different months of the year and the changing seasons, and to remind us that Spring is right around the corner, Year 1 have been using sponges, cotton buds and their fingers to create bright and beautiful ‘Spring Flower Paintings’. Reception have also been creating some lovely artwork of flowers and learning about the changes that happen as plants grow by potting and planting their own seeds.

And as we make the move towards the brighter mornings and slightly longer evenings, Year 6 Art students gave a fitting farewell to winter by making their own snow-globes out of empty glass jars and filling them with things that remind them of the festive period.
