Houses and Leadership
Everyone is a member of a House

All pupils at Redcliffe are allocated a school house on admission and Year 6 pupils are appointed as House Captains each year. House points are awarded for a variety of activities throughout the year and the House Shield awarded to the winners at our annual Prize Giving.

In addition to House Captains, each year the school appoints the following positions to Year 6 pupils:

• Music Captain
• Sport Captain
• Technology Captain
• Library Captain
• Art Monitors

School Parliament

In addition, two pupils from Year 6 are elected as ‘Leaders of the Parliament’. Their role is to involve the whole school community in a democratic election to elect the annual school charity.

This exercise teaches all pupils about democracy in action and also the concept of fairness. It’s also quite a lot of fun!
