Science: Not for the Fainthearted8th July 2021
In Science this week, Year 6 have been studying the circulatory system.
To help everyone understand the structure of the heart, the class were able to dissect lambs hearts. The first task was to orientate the heart the right way round. Once that was done, the pupils had to locate and label the 4 blood vessels coming out of the top of the heart. Finally, the class were invited to cut the hearts open to identify the four chambers of the heart.
Definitely not for the squeamish or fainthearted!
