Sport in Year 1

The children in Year 1 made the most of the sunny weather this week and enjoyed their PE lesson outdoors at our Ifield Road sports ground. As well as playing team games, they practised throwing tennis balls over-arm and under-arm and learned useful strategies for catching, including keeping your eye on the ball.  This bodes well for future sports matches!
