Tackling the Concept of Eternity

In their RE lessons this term, Year 6 are exploring the concept of eternity.

Working in pairs, students began by exploring the definition of the word and when they would use it. Using a thesaurus, they looked up other words that may have similar meanings and used a dictionary to find definitions for the synonyms. They were then asked to compare their findings and present them to the rest of the class.

Tuesday’s lesson was the first in a set of five lessons on eternity, in which students will explore popular ideas of the concept from both religious and non-religious world-views.
