Vindolanda

Salve!  In Latin Years 5 and 6 have been getting too grips with their grammar and vocabulary while learning about the incredible fort and settlement situated near Hadrian’s Wall: Vindolanda.  Through stories of a family who once lived in Vindolanda, the pupils have been researching the clothes the family would have worn, what they liked to eat for breakfast and how they would have entertained.  The class also came up with some excellent posters as reminders for grammar.
