World Oceans Day

10th June 2022

On Wednesday, Redcliffe students considered the importance of our oceans as a foundation of all life for World Oceans Day.

Every year, people around the world unite to celebrate and take action for our shared blue planet, with one ocean and one climate, which connect us all.  RGS students celebrated this special day by decorating tie dye t-shirts made in their art lessons with messages of ‘Save the Seas’ and learning about the crucial role that the oceans play as a home to most of the earth’s biodiversity and in providing over half of the oxygen that we breathe.
