Year 4 sink their teeth into the science of dental health

In Science this week, Year 4 have been looking at how we can keep our teeth healthy.

Students set up an experiment to see which drinks might be bad for our teeth by placing hard boiled eggs in separate containers and seeing over the course of the week which have dissolved. They wrote down their predictions with the consensus amongst the class that the high level of acids and sugars in fizzy cola drinks will dissolve the shell.

We will find out soon if they are correct!
