Year 6 Study the Census

Over the last few weeks, Year 6 have been learning about the census in their Maths lessons. They have been comparing data from 1921 and 2011 and analysing how this data can have an impact on public health and the planning of towns and cities. They enjoyed designing their own towns based on rising populations. The main points they chose to focus on were building new houses, access to school places and how the energy and water supplies in their towns could be as clean and sustainable as possible.
